I'm really struggling to understand what the significance of this is? Unless I'm mistaken, none of the passengers appear to have been Astronauts involved in piloting the ship. They were simply passengers on a pre-programmed flight to the edge of space and back again. So why are the headlines all lauding the fact this was an all female crew and the first since 1963? It wasn't a "crew" as far as I can see - did they have specific roles/functions? It would seem if anything, to be unfair to mention this in the same breath as the previous all female crew, who would have worked hard to earn their place on that flight. What am I missing here?
